‘French for Fun’ is primarily a conversation group designed to improve our spoken French, though we are grateful to our two most fluent members who draw attention to our worst faults in grammar, syntax and pronunciation.
We meet in each others houses on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday mornings of each month, and use a French Magazine called ‘Rendez-Vous’ (with an accompanying CD) to provide a springboard for discussions about France, its history and culture, its politics and current affairs, and about food and wine and holidays of course.
