The Local History Group meets on 3rd Tuesday mornings in members’ homes.
The group’s aim has been to research some aspect of Chandler’s Ford’s history. Our last project was based on the 1911 census. The group is considering new projects based around the 1921 census which was made public in early 2022. How will the social and economic life here in Chandler’s Ford have changed in those 10 years given that for almost half of those years the world had been at war?
