Mah-Jong is a tile-based game (144 tiles based on Chinese characters and symbols) which was developed in China and has spread throughout the world. Usually there are 4 players. In its most basic form it is similar to Rummy.
Mah-Jong is a game of skill, strategy and calculation but also involves chance. And it is fun and challenging for the brain!
We meet at Ampfield Meadows, Baddesley Road, Chandler's Ford, SO52 9BP on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 10am - 12pm in the Private Dining Room. Eric's Bistro serves coffee etc. (We may not bring any drinks/comestibles onto the premises). On entering the site, follow the signs to the Grange and the main reception. Ample parking is available. You will be asked to sign in (and out) including your car registration number.
